Afroman & J.T. Hiskey Drop New Track Beverly Hillz!
Updated: Oct 8, 2022
With bouncy piano chords and free flowing vocals, this collaboration ticks all the boxes.

Produced by Gregory Goose the new single 'Beverly Hillz' by Afroman & J.T. Hiskey shows the versatility of the artists. With an uplifting beat and high production value, the track speaks about the American Dream of Hollywood Hills. The vocals are on point and fit perfectly with the off beat piano.
From nursing student to rap star in the making J.T. Hiskey has alot to offer. Having known Afroman for many years, it was only natural this collaboration came about.

Currently in nursing school he still has time to work on music.
The song speaks about making it out of the hood and making it big in Hollywood, with Hiskey's unique voice it really tells the story very well.
Talking about his experience with his friend Afroman, the beat matches the vocals perfectly, the piano really stands out and the drums bring it all together nicely.

We will be looking out for the duo turning up in Hollywood Hills in the future.
We sat down with the young rap prodigy to find out more about him and his plans for the future.
1) Can you tell us the story behind your newest release?
Afroman and I created this song earlier this year, 2022. Him and I have been friends for the longest time now, as we have done many shows together through the years, and most recently in February of this year. When I created Beverly Hillz, it was just a solo song I had written which came about sometime during the summer of last year. I wanted to created a G-Funk style song, and have spent so much time in Los Angeles myself, this whole idea came together. It wasn't until this year I ended up creating the rest of the song itself with Afroman. Now that the song is officially finished and released, I am trying to raise money from it to donate to a suicide prevention organization. After losing one of my closest friends in high school due to suicide, it only felt right I. try to make a positive different by raising money for this type of organization. Devin would have been so happy about this song, and so it only feels right. The song was produced by Gregory Goose, a talent friend of mine who has been making beats for me since early 2014.
2) Who are some of your biggest Inspirations?
I have so many inspirations, but the ones who inspire me the most are registered nurses. I am working to become a registered nurse myself as I am currently in nursing school right now. Nurses are heros.
3) If you could collaborate with any artist who would it be?
This is always the hardest question I get. There are so many amazing artists out there, but I would have to say someone like Willie Nelson or Smokey Robinson are my top favorite singers, so I will go with them.
4) What's next for you ? Do you have any more releases lined up?
Finish up nursing school and also start performing shows again.
5) Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself as a registered nurse helping others, and changing lives in the most positive way possible.
6) Do you have any new shows coming up?
Tons TBA.
